About Aussie
Meet Aussie & Lola - The Dynamic Duo!
Two little clouds of joy are ready to brighten your world!
Aussie - 4-year-old Shih Tzu cross boy
Lola - 6-year-old Shih Tzu cross girl
Both are desexed, healthy, and waiting for their new beginning - preferably together.
These two best friends are pure delight! No "little dog attitude" here - just love, cuddles, and wagging tails. They adore people, are dog-social, and bring happiness wherever they go.
Active and fit, Aussie and Lola aren't ready to retire just yet! They'll have a little dental work done in the shelter to perfect their smiles, but otherwise, they're ready for adventure.
This pair is looking for an inclusive home where they can be part of the family - a spot in the house, a cozy couch, and maybe even a cheeky Sunday morning nap at the foot of your bed.
Ideal Home:
Older kids (10+)

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
