About Zelda
Zelda is the kind of girl who slips quietly into your heart and then fills it to the brim with love. Rescued as an orphan from a roof space with her four siblings, she has grown into a gorgeous, easy-going sweetheart who is an absolute delight to share a home with.
This beautiful girl is the perfect blend of playful and snuggly: she zooms around and play wrestles with her sisters, then happily flops onto your lap, purring loudly while you relax on the sofa. At night, she loves nothing more than curling up to sleep with her humans, turning bedtime into her favourite bonding time.
Zelda enjoys the company of both kittens and adult cats and would be perfect paired with an established cat who can be her new friend and role model. She is great with kitten-savvy children and takes the rhythm of family life in her stride, making her a wonderful addition to a loving home.
Most of all, Zelda adores her special humans and pours her whole heart into her connections with them. She is so ready to transfer that deep, devoted love to her new forever family and is just waiting for the person who will treasure her as much as she will treasure them.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
