About Zoe & Zara
Zoe and Zara are looking for a forever home as a bonded pair of sisters, and they truly are two little hearts that beat as one. Rescued as tiny orphaned kittens from a roof space with their three siblings, they have grown into the sweetest, most affectionate girls who adore their humans just as much as they adore each other.
Zoe is the confident big sister, and her gentle bravery has helped Zara blossom into a trusting, loving little shadow who follows her lead. Together they are a perfect balance of cuddles and play, always nearby for lap snuggles, purring contentedly as they soak up every bit of affection. At night they love curling up with their special humans, turning bedtime into a warm, comforting pile of soft fur and quiet purrs.
When they are not snuggled up, Zoe and Zara are wonderfully playful—zoomies, play wrestling, and chasing each other around are their favourite games, and they keep each other entertained and happy. They are used to the gentle handling of children and the rhythm of family life, making them an easy, loving addition to a busy household.
These girls are not just pets; they are absolutely treasured little loves who have already overcome so much together and deserve a home that will treasure them just as fiercely. Zoe and Zara must be adopted together, not only because they are bonded, but because the love they share with each other—and with their humans—is something truly special that should never be broken.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.
We appreciate your understanding.

Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
Thank you for helping us give these kittens the loving, social homes they deserve!
