About Murphy
🐾 MEET MURPHY — the Frenchie with charm, cheek, and a whole lot of heart 🐾
Murphy is a handsome 4 year and 1 month old French Bulldog who somehow manages to be both a world-class couch potato and the resident household comedian.
He came into care as a private surrender, through no fault of his own, and he has been wowing everyone with his lovable nature ever since.
Murphy is a nap connoisseur — sprawled across the couch like he pays rent — but when the zoomies hit, stand back! He’ll launch into full Frenchie turbo mode: ears flapping, paws flying, and joy radiating from every little wiggle.
Around the home, Murphy is a total gentleman.
He’s toilet trained, confidently uses a doggy door, and prefers to keep life relaxed and crate-free.
He enjoys his independence, but being close to his people is truly his happy place. Whether draped on the couch or curled up in his bed for a deeper snooze, Murphy’s favourite spot will always be wherever you are.
This sweet boy is a social soul who thrives with companionship.
He especially adores female dog friends and would love a canine sister to play and snuggle with.
He’s great with people of all ages, including children, and fits naturally into the fun and flow of family life.
Murphy is not Cat friendly and small pets remain untested
On lead, Murphy is a polite little walker — unless an irresistible smell grabs his attention, in which case, he becomes a determined detective.
He enjoys short strolls in the cool morning air, taking the world in one sniff at a time.
One of Murphy’s favourite daily rituals is collecting his toys each morning and parading them proudly outside, one by one, like treasures he’s sharing with the world.
He has a delightfully cheeky sense of humour and a magical talent for making people laugh. Whether he’s showing off his toys, zooming through the living room, or flopping beside you with a dramatic Frenchie sigh, Murphy brings warmth and joy wherever he goes.
This boy is motivated by attention, praise, cuddles, and being near his humans. Treats are a bonus — you are the real reward.
He requires no regular grooming, and while he experiences mild skin irritation, it’s easily managed with a Cytopoint injection.
Murphy is looking for a loving home where he can be adored for the funny, affectionate, loyal companion he is.
A canine sister would make his heart sing, but most importantly, he’s searching for a family who will fold him into their everyday life — from morning cuddles to evening couch time.
With Murphy around, every day feels lighter, every moment sweeter, and every heart just a little fuller.

Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email.
