About Jaxie
Meet Jaxie, our 1-year-old Great Dane x Mastiff and the closest thing you’ll ever find to a living, breathing Scooby-Doo — minus the mystery-solving skills… and the snacks. Actually, keep the snacks handy.
Jaxie is an absolute goofball. This oversized clown will have you laughing so hard you might question whether you adopted a dog or a furry slapstick comedian. He specialises in dramatic entrances, awkward zoomies, and giving you that “Did you see that?!” look after tripping over his own feet.
He’s desperate to be your best friend and will follow you everywhere — yes, even to the bathroom, because personal space is not in Jaxie’s vocabulary.
Surprisingly, for a dog built like a small horse, he’s great on the lead and struts with that classic Great Dane prance that says, “I’m fabulous and I know it.”
Jaxie gets along wonderfully with kids and other dogs and may also accidentally sit on them, but with love.
If you’re ready for endless laughs, giant cuddles, and a four-legged sidekick who thinks he’s a lapdog, Jaxie is your guy!
If you would like to arrange a time to meet Jaxie please call the shelter on 55594591!
