About Ziggy
Ziggy is a clever, affectionate Border Collie with a soft, loyal nature. He’s a cuddly boy who loves being close to his humans and is happiest exploring the garden, sniffing plants and chasing butterflies. He thrives in calm, predictable environments and takes his time warming up to new people and places, but once he trusts you, he becomes incredibly devoted. He gets along with well-behaved dogs but mostly prefers the company of his people.
He’s an active dog, but he doesn’t need endless kilometres to be happy — he needs a family who understands the breed and knows that mental stimulation matters just as much as physical exercise. Ziggy loves playing ball, going for long sniffing walks, doing scent games, puzzles and training, and he’s always keen for a swim or a splash with the garden hose.
Ziggy is well mannered and easy to live with. He’s house trained, sleeps through the night in his crate or on the floor, walks beautifully on lead, knows his basic commands and has good food manners. He’s still learning to enjoy grooming, so he’ll need patient owners who can make it a gentle and positive experience.
He’ll do best with a family who can offer a calm, enriching home with older kids or adults, a big yard and plenty of involvement in their everyday lives. He suits people with Border Collie experience who are ready to keep his brain busy, continue his training and bring him along for the ride. He’s loyal, clever and deeply attached to his humans — the kind of dog who’ll give his all to the right home.
Ziggy is located in NSW.

We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa.
