Simba (On Trial)

He is a soft gentle boy and a typical, loving and lovable young lab. He gets along fine with other dogs and even likes cats; all he wants to do is lick them, but they're not going to have any part in that! he is a very happy boy who loves the company of people and other dogs. . . Simba is named after the white lion in the story books. He weighs approximately 30kg. He loves to come up to you for a cuddle or a tummy scratch. He lies on his bed while you watch tv; he loves that time of day. . . . He hadn't been taught much by his previous owners but has been learning a lot in foster care. He's housetrained. He now knows the "sit" command and can usually "stay" and "drop". Typical labrador, simba is very food focused which will help with his training because he'll do anything for a treat. Dog training classes offered through most vets and dog clubs would be fun and beneficial for both simba and his new owners. . . . He loves to play and go for walks. He walks well on a lead and would easily be able to be trained off lead. He would be a great dog to take to a dog park. He would run up to every dog hoping for a game. He is a young dog and will need a daily walk and playtime with his family. . . Simba is a beautiful gentle boy who would be happy to live with a family with children (over the age of around 7 years, so he doesn't accidently knock them over). He is great with older children, and would make wonderful addition to any family with or without kids. He wouldn't like to be outside alone all day so another playful dog would be a good idea. . . .
