About Barnaby
Meet Barnaby, a gentle soul with a heart waiting to blossom in the right environment. Initially shy and reserved, Barnaby is not aggressive but may express his nervousness with a little hissing. With a loving and patient family by his side, he'll become a cherished companion who thrives on gentle attention.
Barnaby would fit well in a home with older children who understand the need for patience as he navigates this new chapter in his life. He's amiable with other cats and, with a slow introduction, can adjust to living with dogs.
For Barnaby to truly open up, he'll need a safe space to call his own initially—a small room where he can gradually decompress and feel secure. Over time, with love and nourishment (feeding Barnaby his favorite meals definitely speeds up the warm-up process), you'll witness his sweet nature and see him exploring progressively larger spaces in the home once he's ready.
If you're seeking a sweet, gentle cat with a bit of mystery to uncover, Barnaby could be the perfect match. Give him the time and understanding he deserves, and he'll become an inseparable part of your family.
