About Shelly and Sandy
Sandy and Shelly are gorgeous bonded sisters who's parents (and human brother) have to move back overseas. They're looking for a new family to love them as much as they're loved now.
Sandy is everybody's friend. She'll come and say hello to anyone who comes to visit. She loves to come and cuddle up with you on the couch or in bed. She also loves her sister Shelly. They're always have a snooze and a cuddle together. If you're having sleep, she'll come and watch over you and snuggle up. She's great with her 9 month old human brother. She loves all people!
Shelly is a bit more cautious with new people, but once she knows you she's a cuddle bug. She likes to snuggle up next to you in bed. She's always been great with the baby, and watches over him protectively when he sleeps. She loves her cat tree and anywhere she can get up high and see the world.
Sandy and Shelly would suit most homes. They just need a new family to love them.
Medical notes
Shelly does have some food sensitivities. She just needs to not change food too regularly.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
