Hi, I’m Girl.
I came into rescue with my litter after our breeder dumped us on death row, nameless and unwanted. When I arrived in foster care, my carer would call out, “hey, girl!” and I'd come running for a snuggle. The name stuck in a sweet way. Of course if you adopt me, you’re welcome to rename me- I’m smart and adaptable.
I’m a fit, friendly all-rounder who gets along with pretty much everyone. Dogs? Love them. People? Absolutely. Kids? Yep. I even live with horses and chooks in foster care and I’m a respectful, easy housemate with all of them. I'm a puppy so I'll need ongoing guidance and training, but I've got great foundations!
I’m crate trained, I travel well in the car, and I’m always up for an adventure with my family. Whether it’s a drive, a walk, or a day out, I’m the kind of dog who jumps in with a happy wag and an open heart.
My days are simple: I wake up in my crate in the foster carer's bedroom, do a big stretch, check in with the other dogs, and start the day ready for fun. I stay outside with the other dogs while my carers head to work. I’m affectionate, social, and I slide into family life effortlessly. I’m past the wild puppy chaos and ready for a life built on routine, love, and stability.
I’d make a fantastic family pet; gentle, adaptable, and eager to please. You’ll just need secure fencing to keep me safe, a doggy friend and in return you’ll get a loyal, sweet-natured girl who fits right into the rhythm of your home. I'm a mixed breed and my parents are unknown; but it seems I am an arab collie mix based on my build and that of my siblings :) I will likely reach 30kg fully grown.
After everything I’ve been through, I’m ready for my happy furever after where I’m loved, wanted, and finally home. ❤️🐾

Adoption details
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following:
- Real estate approval
- Fence requirements
- Outside shelter areas
- Other resident pets fully vaccinated and preferably desexed
- The rescue pet's dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed, age
- Enrichment, exercise and training needs of pet you are applying for
- If you have not read our adoption process below in full, please do not apply until you have.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applicants may meet the animal. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the pet. We will not contact you if you do not complete the form in full AND provided the required photos of yard/fencing within 48hrs. If you apply to adopt but require us to hold the pet more than 3 days before meeting, we will ask you for a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the pet, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters. This holding deposit will be subtracted from the adoption fee should you adopt the animal on hold for you.
