Introducing Charlie — the sweetest little man you’ll ever meet!

At just under 3kg, and only 6months old, Charlie may be tiny, but don’t be fooled: he’s a pocket rocket. No trembling Chihuahua here — this boy thinks he’s ten feet tall and is ready for adventure.

Charlie is a high-energy, high-spirited little dog. If you’re looking for a quiet lap companion, he’s not your man. He would much rather be out walking, playing, exploring, or doing pretty much anything active. While he loves a cuddle, being a couch potato is not his thing!

His ideal human is someone active who wants an enthusiastic, smart little dog that can learn anything you want to teach him.

Because of his size and energy, Charlie isn’t suitable for elderly adopters or anyone unsteady on their feet — he’s simply too quick and zippy. He will need a home with a secure backyard, as he absolutely loves doing zoomies on the lawn. Apartments aren’t suitable for him.

Charlie thrives on stimulation, training, and companionship, so he’s best suited to someone who is home most of the time or works from home. He forms strong bonds and just wants to be involved in your day and shadow everything you’re doing. He’s not suitable for families with young children.

This smart, confident little guy knows basic commands and is crate-trained. His toilet training has improved dramatically in care, but he will backslide without supervision, so his new person must be willing and consistent in continuing his training.

If you’re after a tiny dog with a huge personality, endless energy and enthusiasm, and a heart full of love, Charlie will be your perfect little adventure buddy.

Charlie is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, HW tested (negative) and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
