About Gidgee
Meet Gidgee – Your New Best Mate!
Gidgee is a bright, outgoing, and friendly girl who settles into new places and routines super quickly as if she’s always been there. She has a wonderful nature and gets along beautifully with everyone she meets — males, females, adults, kids and cats!
Gidgee is a people-lover through and through. Whether she’s curled up on your lap or sitting beside you on the lounge, she’s happiest when she’s close. She brings a calm, affectionate energy to the home and loves being part of whatever her humans are doing. She’s only moderately active and as soon as her humans retreat inside, she’s happy to do the same and put her feet up. She loves to sleep on the cane chair in the dining room during tea or lunch breaks in her foster home.
Crate trained – she quickly commandeered a crate and filled it with toys, making it her cosy little den, which she can be a little territorial over. For this reason she could be better suited to a home where she’s the only indoor dog. That said, apart from the occasional growl if someone dares to snoop in her crate, we don’t have any problems with her in our home with our myriad of dogs and cats.
Walks beautifully on leash – she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her humans.
Great recall – she was confidently off-leash by day two in care.
Car ready – She’ll hop right into the car on her own, excited for the next adventure.
Gidgee is cat friendly and blends comfortably with them in the home.
She is in care in Tamworth NSW. Her new family will need to collect her or arrange transport with Dog Movers or another reputable company at their expense.
