About Archie
Benny is a gentle but worried young boy who will thrive in a home that offers consistency, routine, and patience. He needs to be welcomed indoors as part of the family, where he can gradually build trust and bond with his people. Because Benny can feel overwhelmed, it is recommended that he has a safe space such as a crate or den area to retreat to when he is nervous. He has shown some fearfulness toward strangers and, being under-socialised, may be reactive to new people entering the home. His adopters will need to use management strategies to create a calm and positive environment where Benny can feel secure. While he has only shown limited interest in toys in the shelter, once settled he may reveal a more playful side. Benny would do best in a household with teens or calm older children who can be involved in his training and understand dog body language. He will also need to meet any resident dogs at the time of adoption, as he has been avoidant and worried around other dogs in the shelter, but could benefit from the companionship of a calm, social canine friend. My adoption price includes: A FREE 4kg bag of ROYAL CANIN dry food My desexing, microchip and vaccinations Adoption Price: $450 If you think I might be the perfect fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application today! www.rspcaqld.org.au/apply-to-adopt
