About Chicken Salt
*In foster care in Newtown, Sydney*
Chicken Salt is an affectionate, chatty, outgoing little guy who finds joy in every moment! Whether playing non-stop or snuggling in close, he gives it his all. He's definitely committed to living his best life!
Incredibly self-assured, Chicken Salt's always keen to make new friends and he warms up quickly to strangers, easily becoming the life of any party. Everyone seems to love him too - instantly won over by his beautiful eyes and sweet, cheeky personality :)
He has an elegant side as well, especially in his dining approach - preferring to pick up his dinner with his paws and take delicate bites, rather than eating directly off his plate. Be warned: he also does this with his water bowl, so stay well clear of the splash zone!
Like all Maggie's pets, Chicken Salt is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I think I'd fit in anywhere, as long as there's a nice perch for bird watching and plenty of hidey holes. Though I adore hanging out with humans, I'm just as happy chilling on my own. I'm very restful company!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Playtime is great fun, but I'll sidle up for lap snuggles at any opportunity! I also enjoy just being around you when you're reading or watching TV, or strolling across the keyboard and adding my editorial input when you're working.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: My easy-going nature means I'll get on with just about anyone!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Since arriving in foster care I haven't met any other pets, but I'm definitely open to it!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
