Meet Rune, an independent and reserved male cat who exudes quiet curiosity and an air of mystery. Although shy at first, Rune is an introspective and observant companion who will flourish in the right home. He thrives in an environment where he feels safe and secure, away from the hustle and bustle that young children or large dogs might bring. With time, patience, and understanding, Rune will gradually open up and show his uniquely gentle soul.
Rune has a considerable fondness for food, which, in addition to providing nourishment, is a key to building trust with him. His love for treats can pave the way towards developing a deeper bond. He is known to get along well with other cats, finding comfort in feline interactions and blossoming in their company.
Although initially he may be wary of humans due to his past experiences, given care and patience, Rune can learn to appreciate gentle interactions. Living harmoniously alongside other cats, he appreciates a quiet household where his gentle presence is recognized and valued.

'OUR CATS ARE INDOOR ONLY CATS'
Please understand our cats are not your normal friendly, born in the backyard kitty cats. We rescue abused, neglected, traumatised AND medical case animals. These beauties would normally be euthanised on entry to a pound, vet, shelter. We spend thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours on their rehabilitation. One requirement is patience. You must be committed to a long term relationship with our cats. We don’t have cute fuzzy cats. We have cats that have been to hell n back that just need love and security.. We will not adopt any of our cats to you if you want them to be outdoors.
Our door is ALWAYS open and if for any reason you cant commit to caring for your cat, they just come back to us. You don't need to dump them or surrender anywhere else. They just come back to us.

Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
ONLY APPLY FOR OUR ANIMALS IF YOU ARE PREPARED TO SPEND THEIR WHOLE LIFE WITH THEM.
We ask the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
