Bonrad is not a background cat. He is a full-hearted, highly intelligent little force of nature who wants to be part of life with you. He’ll follow along with great interest, communicate his thoughts with expressive body language and determined little demands for attention, and then suddenly fling himself into a game at full gazelle speed like the house is his own private safari documentary.

He’s playful, athletic, and wonderfully smart - the sort of cat who could absolutely learn tricks, walk on a harness, or conquer an elaborate climbing wall with the confidence of an action hero. Fetch? Yes. Dramatic hallway gallops? Also yes.

And beneath all that energy is an enormous softie.

Bonrad adores affection. Belly rubs, kisses, cuddles, snuggling into bed beside your head like an overly affectionate scarf - he loves it all. When he trusts you, he really trusts you, forming a deep bond and choosing his person with wholehearted devotion. He’s especially fond of women and has very much become a “mama’s boy” in foster care.

He’s boisterous, funny, interactive, and absolutely bursting with personality. The kind of cat who turns ordinary days into stories.

Bonrad would thrive with confident, cat-savvy humans who appreciate an intelligent, energetic companion and understand that big personalities sometimes come with big feelings too. He likes clear boundaries, consistency, and people who can meet him where he’s at.

After an unfortunate experience with dogs earlier in life, he’s understandably wary of them now. He has met other cats, but would likely shine brightest as the king of his own castle - though a calm, confident puppy or playful female kitten might suit him with careful introductions.

There’s so much life in Bonrad. So much affection. So much joy waiting to land in the right home.
