About Freya
Meet the spirited and lively Freya!
This energetic little Jug (a delightful mix of Jack Russell and Pug) is seeking a new family who can match her zest for life and love for adventure. With her intelligence and speed, Freya is always on the lookout for fun and excitement, making her the perfect partner for outdoor activities and weekend adventures.
Freya thrives in an environment where she can be the centre of attention. She would be best suited to an active household as the only pet. Her previous owner realised her adventurous and enthusiastic nature demanded more than they could provide, and now, Freya is eager to find a family who appreciates her boundless energy and affectionate personality.
If you're seeking a fun-loving companion who will keep you on your toes while offering endless love and loyalty, Freya might just be the perfect match for your family. Don't miss the chance to welcome this charming pocket rocket into your life.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
