About Lucy
Meet Lucy, an endearing six-year-old cavoodle with a gentle heart and a quiet demeanor. She may be shy, but with plenty of reassurance, she'll blossom into a loving and devoted companion. Her ideal home is a peaceful sanctuary that provides love, patience, and understanding, perfectly suited for retirees who have the time and affection to cater to her needs.
Weighing in at 14.6 kg, Lucy is on a journey to a healthier weight. While she may remind you of a big, cuddly sloth, she is quite content pottering around the garden. With the right balance of exercise and a nutritious diet, she's ready to shed a few pounds at her own pace.
While Lucy appreciates tranquility, she's fond of the occasional company of calm, well-mannered kids and wouldn't mind sharing her space with another mellow canine friend. With plenty of love and time, Lucy will reward you with her loyal companionship and a peaceful presence that warms the soul.
If you're looking to enrich both your life and Lucy's, consider welcoming this lovely lady into your home—where she can be her authentic self, enjoy plenty of attention, and nestle into a life of comfort and contentment.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
