Mallie

Mallie is a sweet and sensitive young girl who may be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly once she feels comfortable. She loves being close to her humans and would thrive in a home where she is allowed indoors as part of the family. Mallie would be happiest with someone who is home more often than not, as she enjoys companionship and would love nothing more than to curl up on a lap inside.
She can be a little selective with food, so her new family may need to experiment with different options to find what she likes best. Mallie is still young and would benefit from some basic training to help her settle into her new home.
While Mallie is open to the right family, she will need to meet any other dogs in the household before adoption. She can be worried around other dogs and prefers to avoid them; during one interaction with a slightly larger dog, she became uncomfortable and growled when approached while sitting on someone's lap. For this reason, careful introductions are essential.
Mallie is ready to find a loving home where she can feel safe, cherished, and truly part of the family.
