About Nellie
Meet Nellie. This sweet girl is searching for an understanding and patient new family who will offer the love and support she needs to flourish. While she may take a little time to warm up, once she does, Nellie’s playful spirit truly shines.
Nellie sees the world as a big, intimidating place, which is why she would thrive in a calm, predictable environment with adults who have the patience and compassion to help build her confidence. Her shy nature means she might be slow to trust initially, but once she starts feeling safe and secure, her lovable and affectionate side will come to the fore.
Though she prefers quieter surroundings, Nellie may benefit from the companionship of a calm, confident canine friend, who can serve as a gentle role model and reassure her. As she begins to feel more at ease, Nellie will show her love through endearing playtimes and gentle interactions, making all the effort truly worthwhile. Her heart holds so much sweetness, and she's simply waiting for the right people to share it with.
If you're ready to open your heart and home to this gentle soul, Nellie promises a rewarding friendship filled with loyalty, love, and cherished moments. Let Nellie show you her world, and you might find it’s a beautiful one.
Medical notes
Nellie will require a home that can facilitate on going confidence training,
which includes medical management. The following medications may be required: fluoxetine, gabapentin and trazodone.
