Along with her babies, our gorgeous mum Shinx is ready to find her home. Forced into motherhood at a very young age, Shinx was quite frankly just not keen- she wants to be a puppy herself! She is a very playful girl, who loves dogs and people. Ideally, she would like a home with a playmate or two or somebody home more often than not. Shinx is lovely with kids, though she may try to steal their food if it's better than her own!

Shinx is crate trained, and while she is fine alone for short periods, she is best crated if left for long periods. Even in her life before rescue this was her normal, so she would like to continue this in her new home- her crate is her safe space and she will run to it if you get on your shoes and ask!

For a young husky, she is quite well behaved at home and happily entertains herself or plays with other dogs while you're home. She knows to sit and wait for meals and treats, and in general is not a food hog. She does need a little work on leash, as she will pull since she was previously not walked and then had to raise babies!

Shinx is house trained, and will take herself out to toilet. Her single flaw is that she will door dash if given the opportunity, but with training she is doing much better. As with most huskies, Shinx does have a prey drive so no cats or pocket pets please. Overall, Shinx is a very easy beginner husky for somebody with love for dogs who wants to dip their toes in, or somebody with husky experience looking for a lovely tempered girl!
