About Meggsy
Meet Meggsy: Your Sweet & Subtle "Carrot Cake" Companion!
If cats were desserts, Meggsy would be a warm, homemade carrot cake—sweet, tender, and subtly wonderful. At her core, Meggsy is a very low-maintenance ginger ball of fur who is looking for a quiet home to grace with her presence.
The Ultimate Shadow
Meggsy doesn’t need to be the center of attention, but she loves to be in the room where you are. She is a master of "quiet company," content to follow you from room to room just to be near you. She values her independence and quiet alone time, but she’ll never let you feel lonely.
The "Grateful" Licker
Meggsy shows her gratitude in a very specific way: extended grooming sessions. If you let her, she will lovingly lick every millimeter of your skin to show you just how much she appreciates you. This affection is her way of saying "thank you" for her beautiful life.
Her Quirks & Daily Rituals
The Morning Wake-up: Forget loud alarms! Meggsy wakes you with a delicate, sweet meow and a gentle lick on whatever is poking out from the covers—a foot, a knee, or your face.
The Shoe Obsession: Meggsy has a hilarious quirk for shoes. Whether she’s sniffing them or rubbing against them, they are her favorite "accessory."
The Patient Foodie: While she loves her food and could eat all day, she is never demanding. You’ll find her sitting patiently and quietly by her empty bowl, giving you a gentle, hopeful stare.
Sun & Territory: She is happiest sleeping in a sunbeam by a window, quietly overlooking her "territory."
Spa Time & Play
Meggsy isn't a high-energy athlete; she’ll chase a thread or a little rope for a moment, but she loses interest quickly. However, if you bring out a brush, you’ll have her heart forever. She absolutely adores her daily brushing and will reward you immediately with purrs and licks.
The Details:
Personality: Kind, tender, and incredibly sweet.
Maintenance: Low energy, independent, and quiet.
Ideal Home: A peaceful environment where she can enjoy the sun and her humans.
Litter trained, vet worked and available for adoption.
Medical notes
Health Note: A Simple Routine for a Special Girl Meggsy has been diagnosed with Proteinuria (a common condition where protein is lost through the urine). While it sounds technical, her care is very straightforward! She simply takes a daily medication that she accepts easily. This is dispensed by the vet every three months, and she just needs a quick check-up twice a year to ensure she’s staying healthy. We are happy to share all cost details with her future family—it’s a small price to pay for such a sweet "carrot cake" companion!
