Indi’s story is one that will quietly break your heart—but also fill it with hope. At 15 years old, she was left behind, abandoned by the very people who once promised to love her. But here she is, still gentle, still trusting, still ready to give her whole heart to someone new.
This sweet little lady has endured so much, yet she remains the kindest soul you could ever meet. Her fur is the softest, puffiest embrace you’ll ever feel, and she carries a quiet wisdom in her eyes that speaks of years of stories and silent strength.
Indi isn’t just looking for a home—she’s searching for a sanctuary where she can finally rest and be truly loved during her golden years. A calm space where her tender heart will be cherished, her gentle purrs heard, and her companionship treasured.
She is patient, calm, and even comfortable with other cats, a testament to her gentle nature despite all she’s been through. Indi deserves a family who will give her all the love she missed before—a family who understands how precious every moment with her truly is.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
