About Cobie
🐾 Meet Cobie – The Sweetest Soul You’ll Ever Know
If you’re looking for a dog who’ll quietly steal your heart and never give it back, Cobie might just be your guy. This gentle, angelic boy has a way of looking at you that makes you feel like the most important person in the world. He’s calm, affectionate, dog-friendly, people-loving, and always eager to please. Whether he’s playing with his doggy pals, enjoying a walk, or leaning in for a cuddle, Cobie’s sweetness shines through in everything he does.
Cobie’s not flashy. He’s not loud. He’s just… lovely. The kind of dog who makes you slow down and appreciate the quiet moments. He’d probably choose people over dogs if he had to, but if he could have both? That’s his dream come true.
🏡 Cobie’s Ideal Forever Home
Cobie’s had a rough start, and now it’s his turn to be cherished. He’s looking for a family who’ll give him the love and attention he’s missed out on. He’d thrive in a home where he can tag along for bushwalks, camping trips, and lazy afternoons on the couch. He doesn’t need much—just your company, a bit of adventure, and a whole lot of cuddles.
He’s spent too much time alone. It’s time for Cobie to soak up the TLC he’s been waiting for.
🛟 Cobie’s Rescue Journey
Cobie came to us from ROAR (Rural Outback Animal Respite) in Cobar—hence his name. He spent a full year in their shelter, patiently waiting for someone to notice him. Before that, he lived the first year and a half of his life chained up in a yard. That’s the reality of Cobie’s past. But we’re here to rewrite his story, and we’re hoping you’ll be part of it.
🩺 Cobie’s Health & Care
Cobie is approximately 2.5 years old and appears to be a Kelpie x Retriever. He’s desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for heartworm, fleas, ticks, and intestinal worms. No known medical issues—just a healthy boy ready for a fresh start.
📌 A Few More Things to Know
Cobie looks like a lean, handsome teddy bear. In his foster home, he adored playing with a Dachshund, and here at Sweet Pea, he’s been best mates with Lola, a Bull Arab X. He’s a little shy at first, but once he knows you’re ready to love him, he’s all in.
Cobie spent last Christmas in a shelter. Let’s make sure this year, he’s curled up next to someone who loves him.
💌 Ready to meet Cobie? He’s waiting patiently, hoping this time it’s forever.
