About Sophie
Meet Sophie, the pint-sized 18 month old with a heart full of love. This delightful cat boasts soft, shiny fur that invites endless pats and cuddles. Her friendly demeanor and calm, easy-going nature make her the ideal companion for a variety of households.
Sophie is wonderfully adaptable, thriving in diverse settings with ease. She’s incredibly affectionate, forever eager to enjoy human contact and shower her family with love. While Sophie hasn't lived in a household with children before, her gentle nature suggests she could thrive alongside cat-savvy kids eager to foster a bond with a furry friend. Additionally, she might enjoy the company of other friendly cats, and she does fabulously with small, cat-friendly dogs.
Entertainment is guaranteed when Sophie has her favorite feather on a wand in sight - this well-mannered kitty will indulge in play for as long as you'll engage with her. Food is another one of her passions, and she'll happily accept delicious treats in exchange for her sweet companionship.

Adoption details
By adopting an animal from a rescue group or shelter you are giving a homeless animal a second chance at happiness. Thank you for considering adoption.
Our Adoption Process:
* Follow the relevant link in each animal's profile to complete the application form. Include as much information as possible so we can get an accurate picture of the life you are offering the pet.
* If your application is approved, we will email you to arrange a meet and greet.
* If the Meet and Greet is a success you will be invited to move forward with the adoption and complete the relevant paperwork.
* We offer a trial period to ensure it's a perfect match. If the animal is returned during this time, you will receive a refund subject to the terms and conditions on the Adoption Agreement signed at the time of adoption.
* Outside of the trial period we remain committed to your pet throughout its life. If your circumstances change and you need to return your pet, we will always take it back, regardless of how much time has passed.
Before completing the application form please be aware of the following:
** We are located in Bendigo, Central Victoria (approx. 2 hours from Melbourne CBD)
** If you are unable to adopt within one week of your submitting the application form please do not apply until you are ready.
** The majority of our correspondence is through email. As a small team of volunteers we simply don't have the resources to man a phone. If you fail to reply to an email or message within 24 hours we will move on to the next applicant-check your "spam/junk folder" regularly.
