About Petey
Petey was found with his siblings, dumped at a work site near Toowoomba at about 2 weeks old. He was very small but has since caught up to his brother in size. He has perserved with a fighting spirit to defy the odds. First, his size was a concern for his carers, then he got sick with Coccidea which he recovered well from. Now he is thriving, and ready to find his forever home. He loves to play, whether with toys, people or other cats, it doesn't really matter. He equally loves his rest times in the hammock and his favourite place is up on someone's shoulder.
Petey gets along well with human children and other cats. He currently lives in a home where the youngest child is 8 so has not been tested with children under 5. However, given his affectionate nature younger children could be right on his radar if they are gentle. He has met dogs with a barrier between them and he has been ok. His foster home consists of two large dogs and a small breed puppy.
Send us and enquiry if you are interested in meeting Petey. He would love the opportunity to meet you.
Please note: Petey will be adopted with a desexing contract. This contract states that she will be desexed at the age of four months. The desexing cost is included in her adoption fee as this cost will be paid for by Second Chance Companions.
Medical notes
Petey did have Coccidea. He has fully recovered and been given full vet clearance.
