About Duchess
Duchess was found with her siblings, dumped at a work site near Toowoomba at about 2 weeks old. She was tiny and is the smallest in the litter. She has perserved with a fighting spirit to defy the odds. First, her size was a concern for her carers, then she got sick with Coccidea which she recovered well from. Now she is thriving, and ready to find her forever home. She loves to play, whether with toys, people or other cats, it doesn't really matter. She equally loves her rest times in the hammock and cuddling up on someone's shoulder.
Duchess gets along well with human children and other cats. She currently lives in a home where the youngest child is 8 so has not been tested with children under 5. However, given her affectionate nature younger children could be right on her radar if they are gentle. She has met dogs with a barrier between them and she has been ok. Her foster home consists of two large dogs and a small breed puppy.
Send us and enquiry if you are interested in meeting Duchess. She would love the chance to show you that good things can come in small packages.
Please note: Duchess will be adopted with a desexing contract. This contract states that she will be desexed at the age of four months. The desexing cost is included in her adoption fee as this cost will be paid for by Second Chance Companions.
Medical notes
Duchess did have Coccidea. She has fully recovered and been given full vet clearance.
