Meet Shadow - a gentle soul ready for her forever home
Shadow is a sweet, timid girl who needs a calm start. She should begin in a small launch room and be given time to settle before exploring the rest of the house, as large open spaces can feel overwhelming for her.
To help her feel secure, her new home should offer plenty of safe spaces such as scratch posts, cat trees, cardboard boxes, igloos, and access to shelves or dressers. High and low hiding spots throughout the home will help build her confidence.
Shadow will thrive with a patient, understanding adopter who recognises that she may take time to adjust before showing her affectionate, playful nature. Teens who can read basic cat body language and know when to give her space would be suitable. Dogs, however, are likely too overwhelming for her.
In foster care, Shadow began fearful and reserved, but with time she blossomed-seeking out gentle pats, bunting, rolling for attention, and enjoying calm, quiet playtime in her condo.
She loves peaceful homes, soft affection once she trusts you, and toys that let her play at her own pace. Now it's her time to shine and find the loving home she deserves.
