Melba is a lovely, happy, 5.5 year old female dog. She is a calm dog except when food or walks are mentioned, then she gets excited. Loves her food and loves chewing bones and toys.

She has a sweet personality, gets on well with other dogs, people, kids and toddlers but NO cats please.

She has medium energy and is happy with 1 walk a day but wouldn’t complain if she got 2. The rest of the time she lazes around outside or on the couches. She likes to be in your presence and knowing you are around and what you are doing keeps her happy. She loves to be loved!

She sleeps well in the crate at night without a fuss and sleeps till 7.30-8 and waits quietly to be let out.

She intelligent, toilet trained, walks quite well on the lead and learnt to use the dog door fast. She doesn’t bark and doesn’t jump fences and travels well in the car.

She will bring joy to any household and will be good as a single dog in a home or one of several dogs but she needs her owners to be round most of the time.
She loves a pat, and a cuddle and she is quick to give you a big tail way when you speak to her.

Currently she resides happily with 2 female staffies and a male bull mastiff.  When we go out and come back, she is there at the gate to welcome us home with ‘smiles’ and tail wags.
