If you're looking for a shy sweetheart who just needs a little time and love to blossom, Toothpick might be your perfect match!

When he first came into care, Toothpick was a bit timid, but with patience and gentle care, his affectionate and playful side has started to shine through. Once he trusts you, he'll melt your heart with soft cheek rubs and bursts of playful energy - wand toys and bouncy balls are his absolute favorites!

Toothpick can feel a little overwhelmed in big open spaces, so he'll do best starting out in a cozy "launch room" where he can settle in at his own pace. He loves having safe hideaways like cardboard boxes, cat trees, or shelves where he can perch and watch the world go by.

He's still figuring out his litter box manners, so his new family will need to provide two large, open litter trays with soft, sandy litter and easy access. With the right setup and patience, he'll thrive!

Toothpick would do best with calm, respectful older children and might even do okay with a gentle, cat-savvy dog who gives him space. Most of all, he's looking for a kind and understanding adopter who can give him the time he needs to feel safe and confident.
