About Winston - On Trial
Winston went on trial with an older retiree, but unfortunately having a dog has proved to be too much for her, so through no fault of his own, winston is now looking for a home again. Winston was rescued from a rural pound. It's so sad to think that such a happy, friendly, young dog came so close to being put to sleep purely because his previous owner decided for some unknown reason that they didn't want him anymore. Winston is a lovely, friendly happy boy who loves people and attention and would like a home where he's not left alone in the yard all day. Winston is house trained and would like to live a predominantly indoor life so he can be close to his people. He will need some basic training as he doesn't seem to have ever had any, but he's a smart boy and is eager to learn. Winston is quite enthusiastic with cats, so as long as the cat was confident and used to dogs, he'd be fine. Winston would be very happy to have another doggy playmate, though he can play a bit rough and does try to be the boss with other dogs, so would need a confident playmate. Everyone that meets winston instantly falls in love with him and it will be a very lucky home indeed that has winston as their new family member!
please note: while i'd love it if i had the time to chat to everyone that wants to talk about one of my animals, the reality is i simply don't. Email is the preferred method of contact for this reason. I respond to all emails in a timely manner and i would ask that potential adopters respect this and email for an adoption questionnaire before calling. Thank you
