About Bumblebee
Say hello to Bumblebee – the tiny, golden-hearted hero of Rocky Roads Rescue! Just like her Transformer namesake, she’s brave, loyal, and full of spark – though her superpower isn’t saving the world, it’s stealing hearts! Bumblebee is a sweet, affectionate social butterfly who loves to chat, explore, and snuggle her way into your day. She’ll happily tell you all about her adventures (she’s quite the talker!) and will come running the moment you call her name, ready for pats, playtime, or a cozy cuddle on the couch.
This little ray of sunshine adores other cats and truly blossoms when she has a furry friend by her side. She gains her confidence through companionship, so her forever home will need another friendly feline to be her best buddy and partner-in-purrs. Whether they’re playing chase, napping side by side, or having a heartfelt “meow” conversation, Bumblebee will always bring warmth and laughter to the mix.
With her curious nature, big personality, and endless affection, Bumblebee is the ultimate sidekick – ready to transform your home into a place filled with love, friendship, and a bit of happy chaos. Once you meet her, you’ll wonder how you ever managed without your own little Bumblebee buzzing around your heart.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
