š¾ Personality:
Bentley is a sweet, affectionate boy who absolutely loves being with his people. He enjoys pats, brushing, and being involved in whatever the family is doing. He gets along really well with other dogs and will only be adopted to a home with a resident dog. He has also been great with dog-savvy cats and is gentle and patient with kids. Bentley can sleep inside or outside, is fully house trained, and uses a doggy door to let himself out when he needs to. He has the temperament of a classic Maremma.
š Training:
He is an alert dog and will bark at new sounds, sights, or visitors. This is part of who he is, and his new family needs to be comfortable managing that calmly. He is doing well with structured introductions to guests and continues to improve. Around livestock he still needs supervision. With steady guidance and routine he will continue building good habits.
š Perfect Home:
Bentley needs A large property or farm is strongly preferred because he needs room to move and feel like he has a space to watch over. He is not suited to being a paddock guardian. He wants to be part of the family and included in day to day life. A dog companion is essential for his wellbeing. His ideal home is with someone who understands protective barking, and is committed to giving him the training, structure and love he needs.
Bentley is ready to give his whole heart to the right family. If you have the space, the experience, and another dog for company, he will be a loyal and loving addition to your home.
Love and licks,
Bentley š¾ā¤ļø
