Saffron

Hi, I’m Saffron, a curious little soul,
There’s nothing I love more than being in the role
Of household detective, investigating all day,
To see what my humans are doing and join in the play! 🐾

I can get a little enthusiastic — that’s true,
With people and other cats, I’ve got plenty to do!
I’m learning my manners and taking things slow,
And with every day, I’m learning and growing.

My foster mum says there’s a sweet girl inside,
Just waiting for the right home to bring her to life.
I’m making great progress, and I’m proud to say
I’ve discovered how lovely it is to relax and stay
Across her legs on the couch, warm and cosy,
Purring away while I get nice and dozy. ❤️

I’m looking for a home where my mind can stay busy,
With plenty of enrichment to keep me happy and fizzy!
I don’t necessarily need a feline friend,
But if I have one, I’d prefer a confident cat who won’t mind my zest,
Perhaps someone a little older who knows how things go,
And can teach me the ropes while I continue to grow.

With children, I’d love them to understand
That sometimes I need a little space and a gentle hand.
I can be reactive if I’m handled too much,
So older children who respect my boundaries would be best as such.

I’m a work in progress, but I’m trying my best,
And with love, patience and guidance, I know I’ll be blessed.
