At just 7 months old, Aldric is already making a big impression — literally and figuratively. Listed as a Staffy x Poodle, but with more similar looks to an Irish Wolfhound X, this gentle giant is a beautiful blend of puppy energy and old-soul wisdom.

When Aldric first arrived, he was shy and unsure, taking his time to trust the world around him. But with patience and kindness, he’s blossomed into a loving, loyal companion who just wants to be near his people. He’ll follow you from room to room like your own personal shadow — always curious, always quietly devoted. At night, he sleeps peacefully in your room on his own bed — content just to be near.

His favorite hobby? Sneaking off with your slippers / socks and curling up with them like prized treasures as he loves the comfort of your scent. It’s his way of saying, “You’re my person,” however he is learning to redirect his chewing to appropriate toys.

Aldric is toilet trained and patient when taking treats. He adores dogs of all sizes and would benefit from having a doggy friend in the home to play and snuggle with and to learn from. At 28kg and still growing, he’s a big boy with an even bigger heart. He adores nose kisses and melts under gentle pats, leaning in with that big, fuzzy head like he’s known you forever.

He’s still building confidence, particularly when travelling in the car or navigating busy public spaces. In these moments, Aldric can become anxious and retreat into a quiet, submissive state as he takes in his surroundings. With gentle exposure and reassurance and maybe a doggie friend showing the ropes, he’s already showing signs of progress. He’ll flourish in a home that continues to support his sensitive nature — one with calm energy and plenty of love.
