About Rikki
Meet Rikki, a stunning female border collie with a heart as big as her vibrant, blue eyes. Rikki is the epitome of gentleness and warmth, embracing everyone she meets with her friendly disposition. Because of her deafness, a well-fenced yard is essential to ensure her safety, allowing her to explore and enjoy the outdoors without concern. With her sunlight sensitivity due to her striking blue eyes, Rikki would need shade-filled spaces and frequent indoor relaxation. Medical notes
Rikki has been desexed and given a full veterinary health check.
A grade 1 dental clean was completed with no further treatment required.
Her right hind leg shows mild laxity in the stifle, with no current pain noted - this should be monitored.
Rikki is also suspected to be deaf, and this well need ongoing observation.
Rikki's eyes also seems sunlight sensitive
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
