About Nicko
Get ready to fall in love with Nicko, an adorable 5-month-old male Mastiff mix brimming with curiosity and sweetness. This cutie came into the shelter with his siblings Mikey, Billy, Tommy, and sister Marley, and he's ready to find a new family of his own.
Despite his large breed potential, Nicko has a gentle and submissive personality, often looking to his human companions for guidance and approval. His eager-to-please nature makes him a wonderful candidate for training, and he's keen to learn new tricks and fit into family life. He would benefit from a family that encourages not only his gentle side, but also his playful and exuberant puppy spirit.
Nicko is in the playful and cuddly stage of puppyhood, where every day is an adventure waiting to be explored. His ideal home is one where he will be included in your daily activities, be it a simple walk in the park, a lazy Sunday in the backyard, or a cozy night snuggled up with the family.

Adoption details
The adoption process at the Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter is relatively easy. We ask that if you are interested in an animal, please apply via pet rescue, the Shelter staff will then review applications and phone selected applicants for a meet and greet. We do not take expressions of interest over the phone.
Once you have been selected as the right applicant for the animal, all that is required by you is to make a payment at the Animal Shelter by eftpos ONLY (Via phone can be arranged after a meet and greet with the animal), provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork and then pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated, if not already desexed and vaccinated (Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic.
The following are the re-homing fees for dogs and cats,
Entire Dog (to be desexed after adoption) - $400.00
De-sexed Dog (de-sexed by previous owner) - $275.00
Entire Cat (to be desexed after adoption) - $300.00
De-sexed Cat (de-sexed by previous owner) - $175.00
Entire Dog( to be desexed after adoption) 8years or older - $250.00
De-sexed Dog (de-sexed by previous owner) 8 years or older - $150.00
Entire Cat (to be desexed after adoption) 8 years or older - $150.00
De-sexed Cat (de-sexed by previous owner) 8 years or older $100.00

Microchipping (identification details will be placed on the NSW Companion Animal Register)
Lifetime Registration (within NSW)
Vaccination
Worm, flea & tick treatment
Vet Check
De-sexing (if required)

Please Note: All dogs and cats rescued from the Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter are required to be de-sexed. Dogs and cats will not be sold as entire under any circumstances.
If you are enquiring for a dog and your household has children, dogs or cats please notify the animal shelter.
We are unable to test our dogs with children, but we can do limited testing around cats and other dogs.
The Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter is open Monday to Friday 10.00am till 2.00pm or via appointment.
