Do I have everybody's attention? Good. Now, for those who haven't met me yet, my name is Zinnia. I have been in care for a little while now, and I've come a long way since my journey first began, so my foster mama thought it was about time we updated this bad boy. So, here goes ...

Nature
Life for me started a bit rough. I was a typical street kitty: cold, hungry and surviving the best I could, but it was far from easy. Thankfully, I was picked up and placed in the pound where an Angel whisked me away to safety. Now I spend every day surrounded by love and my belly doesn't rumble anymore!

The first few months of domesticated life were a scary and lonely blur. It took me a long time to trust people and I spent most of my days hiding from the world. Fast forward to the present day and I'm a completely different kitty! I have now done a complete one-eighty and absolutely worship the ground my foster mama walks on. I will follow her from room to room all day, every day. She thinks my name should be changed to 'Shadow' as that is basically what I am to her!

I'm also a huge fan of pats and love. HUGE. And I will brush up against her legs until she gets the hint! And then, when I get sleepy, I will tuck myself in with a blanket and fall asleep in her lap - heaven!

It's important to know that it will take me a bit of time to settle in and feel comfortable in my new home but, I can assure you, I am worth the wait.

Companions (Children, Cats, Dogs)
I haven't met any kids or dogs before but my mama thinks I would do better with the older, more chilled out ones, who will be gentle with me and respect my boundaries. So long as all introductions are slow then my pawrents are certain we will become the best of furriends.

I'm a big, big fan of other kitties and would be so very happy if there was another cat, or two, to become best friends with. I have been on my own with my foster mama for a while now though and I have adjusted to being an only child just fine.

My PURR-fect home would be with a loving family, in a peaceful environment, who will allow me to continue growing and building in confidence. I'm an exceptionally sweet and loving little girl who deserves a wonderful second chance at life.
