About Milo and Buddy
Hi❣️ I'm Milo. I'm 6 years old - 8.5kgs of muscle and attitude.
I can be very loving and I like to snuggle. I’m always on the hunt when I'm not sleeping💤. I love walkies 🐾 and playing with my toys. I can stand and beg for treats - this makes me look like a little waiter. So far, I am friendly with other dogs 🐕. I am in good health and do not take medication. I do not like cats 🐈❌. I will chase anything small that moves. I cannot be allowed off the lead outside of the house and garden environment. I walk well provided my walker does not allow me to stop every time I feel like it. I am devoted to my son Buddy. May we never be parted. I am an excellent guard dog. I am constantly paying attention to what is going on around me. I am a quick learner, and my current carers have taught me basic commands (with treats). I tend to bark when I want something but I am being taught patience.
Hi❣️ I'm Milo's son, Buddy. I am 5 years old and weigh 13kgs.
I have not had the easiest time of it until lately. I am very loving and a bit of a couch potato. I like walkies 🐾 and wrestling over toys with my Dad. I can get stressed and noisy over wildlife and cats. I and get confused when I am not allowed to talk to every dog and person I go past. I also react to cyclists 🚴. I walk quite well but I need a firm hand because I am prone to lunging at moving targets. My martingale collar is very effective at helping me but I respond best to a calm and assertive walker 👟.
I am currently medicated to treat my anxiety, but I am being weaned off these medications. I am responding very positively to a short, firm and patient daily training regime (I love treats). I have come a long way in three months with my carers. With kind patience from my new owner, I will likely settle very quickly. I am in excellent physical condition.

These two are the best boys with plenty of character.
Milo and Buddy travel well in the car and must be allowed inside and to sleep inside.
Medical notes
Buddy is on anti-anxiety meds but, in consultation with the vet, is in the process of reducing these.
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
