Misty is a striking silver-grey girl who has quickly impressed everyone she meets. Found on a mine site, you’d never guess she was living rough because she is genuinely one of the friendliest, most people-focused cats you’ll ever meet. The moment she arrived in foster care, she settled in like she’d always been part of the family.

She’s a confident, social cat who gets along beautifully with both dogs and other cats. Misty enjoys chatting away as she follows her humans around the house, always ready to offer her thoughts on the day. She loves a cosy nap, happily accepts affection, and has a soft spot for treats, especially slices of ham.

Her foster family says she slots into routine easily and brings a calm, gentle presence into the home.

Misty is currently living with a loving SAFE foster family, which means we know her personality well, and meeting her is simple. Just send through an adoption application and we’ll arrange a meet and greet so you can get to know her for yourself.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Are you able to commit to providing a safe, clean, and comfortable home for the cat?

2. Do you have the financial resources to provide for the cat's basic needs such as food, litter, toys, and veterinary care?

3. Are you able to commit to spending time to socialise and train the cat?

4. Are you prepared to keep the cat indoors at all times? An INSIDE cat is a SAFE cat.

NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Kittens may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
