Leo and Luna are a bonded brother sister pair who sneak into your heart slowly, quietly, and then never let go. They might not run to greet you right away, but once they decide you’re safe, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without their gentle company. Sit down for just a moment, and you’ll soon hear the sweetest little chirps as they pad their way over. Leo rubs his head lovingly against you, rolling with delight, showing you his belly like a little invitation to stay awhile. Luna follows close behind, curious and tender, sometimes letting you scoop her up for a cuddle before settling at your feet, stretching out with a soft purr and a trusting gaze that says everything. They love to join you on the couch, asking for pats and quietly watching over you, a soft presence that brings comfort and warmth.
Every day with them is a quiet kind of magic. Luna’s playful side shines when she’s chasing feather toys, her graceful little pounces and chirps filling the room with life. Leo, ever the thoughtful observer, watches over her, sometimes joining in, sometimes content to admire her bravery from his perch. They are each other’s courage when one finds confidence, the other blooms a little more too. They nap together, groom each other, and share an unspoken tenderness that’s as comforting to watch as it is to feel.
Leo has shown remarkable resilience after overcoming a urinary blockage that was successfully treated. He now manages a condition called interstitial cystitis with ease, taking his twice daily medication in a creamy treat, something he looks forward to with happy anticipation. Both Leo and Luna are on special urinary food to help them stay healthy and comfortable. His gentle spirit and trust make caring for him feel like second nature.
Leo and Luna thrive in a calm, quiet home, ideally with teenagers, as louder little noises and bustling can startle them while they build their confidence. They flourish best with routine and love their bedtime play sessions, where Luna’s hunting instincts come alive and Leo sometimes joins in with quiet curiosity. They get along well with gentle, respectful dogs and friendly non confrontational cats.
These two sweethearts are still shy but growing more confident every day, leaning on each other for courage and companionship. Their ideal home is patient and peaceful, a sanctuary where they can continue blossoming into the loving, affectionate cats they are meant to be.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
