Say hello to Emmy, a medium-sized, soft brown Cavoodle with the prettiest eyes and a heart full of love — once she learns to trust you. Emmy is a sweet, sensitive girl who’s made incredible progress in foster care and is now ready to find her right forever home with patient and loving humans.

💛 About Emmy

Emmy has a gentle, thoughtful nature. She wakes up each morning full of joy, greeting her doggy friends with happy enthusiasm before bouncing excitedly while her breakfast is prepared — she loves her food! Emmy has come such a long way; where she once needed humans completely out of sight to eat, she now feels comfortable enough to eat nearby.

Her absolute favourite part of the day is her morning walk. Emmy is fantastic on the lead — she walks calmly beside her carer, checking in for guidance, and is also wonderful off-leash once she feels secure. She loves running and playing with other dogs and is beginning to enjoy ball games too. Emmy always stays close to her “pack” and returns beautifully when called.

🐾 A Home with Other Dogs – No Exceptions

Emmy’s world revolves around other dogs. She feels safest and happiest in their company, taking her social cues and confidence from them. For this reason, she must go to a home that already has at least one other gentle, friendly, well-adjusted dog who will let Emmy cuddle up with them — the more the merrier for Emmy! She adores cuddling up with her doggy companions at night, often sharing the same bed, and giving affectionate face licks to her doggy friends.

🏡 Her Ideal Home

Emmy needs a quiet, calm home with patient and understanding humans who will give her space to grow in her own time. Sudden movements and loud noises can frighten her, so a predictable environment is best. She’s not suited to homes with children under 16 or to busy households with frequent visitors.

Have at least one calm, friendly, well-adjusted small-to-medium dog.

Allow indoor access at all times.

Be gentle, patient, and committed to continuing Emmy’s slow, force-free confidence building.

Provide daily walks and social opportunities with her canine friends — Emmy loves beach runs!

🛋️ Progress and Personality

In foster care, Emmy has learned to relax and even sits on the couch — on her own terms. Her carer has respected her boundaries, allowing Emmy to decide how close she wants to be. With this patient approach, Emmy continues to blossom each week. She’s bright, clever, and eager to please once she trusts you.
