About Nala
I’m a 3-year-old German Shepherd x Alaskan Malamute, which means I’m equal parts clever, loyal, and fluffy — a mix of brains and heart wrapped up in one beautiful coat (if I do say so myself).
I can be a little cautious when meeting new people — I like to take a minute to suss things out, just like any good Shepherd would. But once I decide you’re trustworthy, I’ll stick by your side through thick and thin — Malamute-style loyalty right there! 💛
I’m looking for a steady home where my humans are around more often than not. I thrive with routine, gentle guidance, and plenty of love (and maybe a few snacks). Kids 15+ who are confident with large dogs are cool, but little ones and small pets? Not really my thing — I’ve got too much “working dog energy” for that!
My perfect day?
🌤 Morning patrol in the yard — gotta make sure everything’s in order!
🐾 A good sniffing adventure or a splash in my shell pool (it’s my spa time).
🧸 Some playtime — I love a bit of rough-and-tumble fun!
🛋 Then curling up inside where it’s cozy, because hey, even Malamutes enjoy the finer things.
I get along with other dogs, especially ones my size who can keep up with my playful energy and don’t mind my sometimes-quirky play style. A secure fenced yard would be amazing — I love having space to stretch my legs and enjoy the fresh air.
If you understand big, intelligent breeds and have room in your life (and heart) for a loyal, goofy girl who’ll be your best buddy, I think we’ll be a perfect match.
Love and fluff,
Nala 🐾💛
