Bindi

Beautiful Bindi never thought she would be homeless and needing to find another family to love her.

At 11 years old, Bindi has been adored and well cared for by her wonderful humans, since she was a tiny puppy.

They made sure that she attended all of her vet appointments and fed her the best food and she truly was their furbaby…………and suddenly, through no fault of anyone, everything changed.

When we were contacted last week, Bindi’s dad was dying. His family were surrounding him and sending him off with love.

Bindi’s mum is also needing increased care, and she now has to move into assisted living. The heartbreak of losing her lifetime partner and now her furry companion is completely devastating and her last act of love to Bindi was asking us to find her the home she deserves.

Bindi is a friendly, loyal and affectionate girl. She has lived with a cat but she has not had much experience with other dogs. She was attacked many years ago and her humans made the decision to avoid situations with other dogs so a home without any other dogs would be best.

Bindi is fine with visiting children, but she doesn’t want to live in a busy home with kids. We did place Bindi briefly in a home with kids and she was so stressed that the carer returned her within 48 hours.

Bindi is a classic English Staffy. She has the huge Staffy grin, she gives the best Staffy hugs and she loves her food!

Bindi would love a calm home, with someone around more often than not. She would be a great companion for active retirees or someone who enjoys having a companion to join them on all of their activities.

Bindi is house trained, loves the car and bonds very quickly to her humans.
