Hi! My name is Tux and I am a 6 month old cattle dog mix puppy. I am a playful, energetic and super loyal boy!

My perfect home would be one where I can be included in every day activities. I love to follow my foster mum around with whatever she’s doing - whether it be farm chores, gardening or folding laundry - I just love hanging out! I would also love to have another doggy sibling who could help me to keep building my confidence and showing me the way of the world. I am a friendly and social boy.

Sometimes I can get a little bit nervous in new situations, so I need an owner who is ready to help me learn how to be a confident and brave boy.

I am a playful young pup, I love a good game of fetch or tug-o-war. I’ve recently learnt how to swim and now that is one of my favourite activities! I’m a high energy boy but if you meet my physical needs I’m more than happy to curl up for the night on my bed.

I’ve recently been living life on a farm and so far I’ve met chickens, horses and cattle and I’m well mannered around all of these livestock.

All of the basic training has already been done for you! I’m a super smart boy and I pick things up really quickly. I know how to sit, stay and wait for my dinner. I’m also toilet trained and crate trained, although I’m happy to sleep inside or outside - I’m pretty easy going. I have excellent leash manners and am a very good boy to take for walks, and will sit tied up if you want to stop at a cafe along the way. I have the best off lead recall, but you never really have to worry about losing me because I don’t like to venture very far from my people anyway.
