About Taco
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Taco is a friendly and calm boy. He is very people oriented and you will often find him sitting by your feet looking patiently up at you waiting for the next adventure. He loves to romp and play and then will snuggle up next to you when he is tired. Being the mixed breed that he is, Taco is quite clever and very food motivated so he will be a breeze to train. He is already learning to sit, wait and recall.
My Ideal Home:
Taco's ideal home will be one where people are home more often than not. He loves people and will happily sit quietly by your side. He needs to be in a home where he will be included as part of the family
What is Known About My Background:
Taco & his 3 brothers were surrendered to Hunter Animal rescue once they were weaned from their mum. He has had a good start to life and is now looking to find his forever family.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Taco is a calm puppy. He is interested in the cats but will sit calmly and watch them rather than barking or chasing them so I am sure in time they would become friends. He hasn’t met any small children but I am sure he would get along with them just fine. He loves romping with his brother and would enjoy the company of an older dog to teach him the ropes.

Adoption details
Applicants will be required to complete and submit an Adoption form from https://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au
HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
