About Bean - 1 Year Old Dachshund X
Meet Bean, a sweet 1 year old Dachshund mix.
With his gentle nature, big expressive eyes, and wagging tail, he wins hearts everywhere he goes.
Bean is quite calm for his age, yet still playful in all the right ways! He enjoys playing with his foster brother and fetching his toys.
He absolutely loves the beach, swimming around in the calm water, chewing a stick or digging in the sand. He’s one happy boy!
Bean incredibly loyal and bonds deeply with his family. He walks beautifully on the lead, staying close by your side and never strays far off lead. Plus, he travels great in the car!
While he can be a bit nervous in new situations and when meeting dogs, he warms up quickly and would thrive with continued exposure to the world. Happily tagging along on any adventure!
Bean can sometimes fret at first when left alone, though he does settle. He would love a home with a second dog of similar size to play with and keep him company and someone who is home more often than not.
His loving nature makes him the perfect companion for someone wanting a loyal shadow and cuddle buddy. There’s nothing he loves more than snuggling up by your side at the end of the day.
He is fantastic with children of all ages. He is untested with cats and birds, so introductions would be needed. He’s fully toilet trained and uses a doggy door to take himself out.
If you’re looking for a sweet, beach loving, loyal little friend who will adore you endlessly, Bean just might be your perfect match.
Bean is in foster care in Broadmeadow, NSW, and is not available for interstate adoption. His adoption fee is $1100. He is desexed, vaccinated and treated for ticks, fleas and worms.
