This beautiful soul wants nothing more than to be by your side, especially if you are someone who spends a lot of time at home. Libra would prefer a quiet household, where she is the only pet, and she does not have to share her favourite person with anyone.

Out and about, Libra loves a car ride or a walk, she is obedient on the leash and doesn’t react to other dogs walking past. New situations, dogs approaching her or people being loud can be overwhelming for her at times. If Libra gets unsure, she will growl, however since she has been in care, this has improved leaps and bounds. For this reason, she needs a patient and gentle owner, who is committed to her training and continues with Libra’s socialisation.

Being a one person dog, Libra will bond deeply with her special person, she is very affectionate, quiet in the household and is perfectly crate trained. Although Libra would love someone home more often than not, she is used to full time work hours and remains respectful of your property while you are away. Like most cocker spaniels, Libra will need regular grooming to keep her luscious locks fresh and tidy.
