About Penny
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Penny is a super sweet girl that loves to be brushed and petted once she is comfortable with you. She is shy at first then comes out of her shell and loves attention. She has not shown any sassy behavior - she will just sit and watch till she feels safe then loves all the attention she can get. She has been in care with kittens and has been fine with them - just the odd hiss when they are in her face. After a few days she will play with them.
She enjoys scratching the cat tree for enrichment and is a very easy care girl. Penny loves her food and is not fussy. If you are looking for a wonderful companion Penny is the girl for you.
Penny does have an allergic skin condition to which she is currently on medication for. We believe it started when she was desexed and her skin was exposed but since being on the medication, her belly fur has grown back and we have started weaning her of the meds. All going well, she should be off the meds by mid December. Otherwise, she is a beautifully natured girl who has had all her vet work done so is ready to move into her forever home.
My Ideal Home:
Penny will only be rehomed as an inside cat, and can be with or with out a fur sibling. A quiet home would be preferred as she will need a littlle time to settle in, and then she will become your best friend.
What is Known About My Background:
Penny was found as a stray and dropped off at the shelter
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Penny hasn't met kids while in care, only teens and adults, which she has been fine with. She hasn't met many dogs (but will this coming week) and has been fine with other cats.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
