About Danny
Hi there, I’m Danny a 3 year old male black and tan kelpie.
Once I warm up to you I’m a complete wiggle monster until I’m next to you, then I’ll sit for a scratch and I’ll reach out with my paw for a handshake too. If you’ll let me I’ll lean on you and we can sit outside in the sun together.
I love gently playing with the resident foster dog, and I think I’d really like to live with another dog who likes to play and wouldn’t mind cuddling up to me too.
In foster care I’ve spent some time in my crate. For now, I don’t mind sleeping outside in my kennel with a nice big blanket to snuggle into. Outside I love to run around and bask in the sunshine.
I’m working on my manners and basic obedience and know how to sit, come to my name and a whistle. I am learning to walk well on the lead and trying not to get a fright at other loud dogs and noises that I don’t know. I travel well in the car and love observing the world going by.
I’m still learning to trust people, I am just a bit shy but once you show me you love me with a good scratch and a calm chat I’ll be your best friend. I would be best suited to teenagers, not younger kids.
I’m looking for calm, patient home where trust can be built at my own pace. I would suit living with another dog that is welcoming to new dogs and confident. I’ve got energy to burn but that can be just walks and playing with my humans too.
If you’re looking for a new best friend, who will make you smile with a dance and occasional song I think I could be your guy!
Danny is located in VIC.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
